Position:

Sr. MRI Coil Analysis/Repair Engineer

Salary:

60,000 – 85,000 Annual, based on experience

Location:

Newport News, VA

Description:

Assist in analyzing, troubleshooting, testing, and certifying a wide variety of MRI antennae and related products. Must have demonstrated ability to troubleshoot RF electronic circuits to component level and work independently on technical projects assigned. Must demonstrate knowledge and experiences in radio frequency and digital electronics and associated test equipment.

Skill Requirements:

• MRI engineering, experience with Siemens, Philips and/or Toshiba MRI Coils preferred
• MRI physics,
• MRI antenna hardware
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to extensively document work repairs as per company quality management and ISO requirements
• Demonstrate Knowledge and use of Network analyzers, bore simulators and related test hard/software
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work unassisted on time sensitive repairs
• Ability to work in a team-like environment with outside departments

Education Requirements:

Advanced degree in Engineering or Physics
