General Description:
The Distributor Relations Manager Europe is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for our service & product offerings within the European Market. The Manager will be responsible for the identification and realization of alliance, distribution, and retail opportunities for VIVID’s service and product offerings.
Key activities performed include:
- Sales & Alliance Development – Identify, build, manage, and close long-term relationships and sales with strategic partners and end-users in the healthcare industry, initiate and complete proposals, presentations, terms and conditions (working with VI legal team), service and product pricing, negotiations and execution of strategic alliances, service contracts and distribution agreements. Identify and attend trade shows in your assigned market.
- Marketing Strategy Development – As new service & products are developed or acquired, coordinate with top management and development teams to develop sound marketing strategies to win in the marketplace. This will include market segmentation, value proposition development, positioning, pricing strategy, branding strategy, channel strategy, and communications strategy development. The position will require approximately 40-60% travel and will eventually include hiring, training, and managing a group of business analysts and managers.
Job Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of diagnostic imaging product service within the healthcare industry.
- MBA or advanced marketing and/or finance degree
- 5-10+ years postgraduate experience
- Superior strategy and financial skills
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Partnership development (including negotiation) capabilities;
- Self-motivated with ability to work in an unstructured environment (strong operational mindset, decisive, with a "get it done" and “whatever it takes” mentality)
- Strong analytical skills (experience building, evaluating and clearly presenting complex business models is critical)
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence others without formal authority
- Excellent written and oral communications skills using English language.
In addition to the above requirements the following are desirable attributes;
- Significant strategy development and management experience with a strategy consulting firm or corporation is a plus
- MRI, CT or Contrast Injector sales experience
- Experience building strategic marketing and selling relationships with senior level executives in healthcare companies.
