Massachusetts GeneralHospital to conduct performance trial on CT Expres III

Mass General will conduct a product performance trial on the CT Expres III, the first syringe-less, FDA cleared for multi-dose contrast injector for the CT environment.

The trial will measure the performance of the CT Expres III against traditional injectors in speed, ease of use and other performance factors.

"Unlike syringe loaded injectors, the CT Expres III offers users the freedom to choose any brand of contrast delivered from any bottle size. Because the bottle is loaded directly into the injector, users realize the ability purchase bulk contrast and process up to 1000ml without the need to stop and reload. They simply insert a new patient delivery cassette which takes 15 seconds to perform. Moreover, pushing contrast directly from the source bottle reduces wasted contrast and utilizes all available contrast from the source bottle" says Curtis Hagg, National Sales Manager for VIVID IMAGING.
