VIVID IMAGING Announces New Turnkey Coil Repair Service For European Union Customers

VIVID IMAGING is pleased to announce the expansion of its MRI coil repair service to the European Union through an exciting, turnkey approach to MRI coil repair. By developing “partnerships” with current MRI, CT and X-Ray service and sales companies throughout Europe, VIVID IMAGING will create an opportunity for our partners to profit from a new revenue stream, while adding a new and important product to offer their customers.

“Our partners will be able to take advantage of a program that has not previously been available. With one phone call to VIVID IMAGING, our partners can have their customer’s coils picked up, repaired, and returned, at a cost much less than the current coil service market is seeing. Right now in the EU, most MRI coils are exchanged rather than repaired. This approach comes with an average cost of 37,500 Euros. VIVID IMAGING’s Coil Repair Partnership pricing starts at 4,000 Euros per coil repair, so the potential new revenue for our partners is obvious,” stated Curt Hagg, VIVID IMAGING Sales Manager.

In some cases, coils are covered under an MRI service contract. Our research has found that most of these contracts cost about 9,000 Euros for coverage of 6 coils. The average MRI department has one coil repair per year; therefore, these departments are overpaying for their coil coverage. With a savings of about 5,000 Euros per MRI system, the potential savings are extensive.

The cost for VIVID IMAGING’s turnkey coil repair partnership program includes coil pickup, coil repair, cosmetic repairs, if necessary, and return shipping. Protected territories and marketing support are also included.
